living for today and not for the next day

Matthew 6:34 (New International Version, ©2010)

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own
so many times in life we focuses on what we have to get done this week next month in doing so we so much of what is happening right in front of our eyes today. i know personally i am always thinking about the next thing that i have to do. but the lately the lord has been reminding me too slow down and just take care of today and worry about tomorrow tomorrow. which i have to admit is hard especially in the cutler we live in. we worry about every that is going on, we plan and plan but what we really should do is stop and say OK today is today and tomorrow will be a new day. The Lord tells us in his word not to worry but to just live one day at a time.
when we worry and do not take the Lord advice from scripture we end up stressed out about every that is going on in life. If it is one thing i have learned in these past couple of months is to live day by day and let the Lord take care of the rest. Because the Lord after all is faithful and he will take care of us his children. he never leaves us nor does he forsake us.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (New International Version, ©2010)

8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

take up the lord yoke in the good and hard

Matthew 11:28-37 (New International Version, ©2010)

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

we read this passage so many times or we hear it in sermons, but really what does it mean to us personally? how do we as sons and daughters of the king apply this to our strangles in every day live. do we stop in the mints of our day and say lord this problem is your or do we say i can do this i just have to get throw it. when the truth is somethings are too hard for us to handle by our self we need the strength of the lord wither it is in hard times or in times with little problems. so many times we just forget to give it to the lord and ask for direction and for help. because after all no matter what, the lord will always be there. the lord knows our pains, our hurt, he knows our hearts. so no matter what it is, remember to take the lord's yoke upon yourself.
